Figuring it out

I am learning how this blogging thing works as I go along. I am not tech savvy nor do I enjoy social networking. Posting and linking and stickies are terms as foreign to me as the Swiss penal code. I am trying out this linking a post to an article and am sticking this code underneath here. It doesn't link to anything relevant (if at all), I just want to see if I know what the hell I'm doing.

Well that was relatively painless. I imagine there is a quicker way to do this than going to the article and copying the link and then going back to my blog and pasting it. I am not going to devote much time to figuring it out though... Should anyone have a helpful hint it would be appreciated.
