The TBA is movin' on up. In a shocking development, someone at the NTRA actually had a good idea. Congratulations to Handride, Railbird, GbG, Aspiring Horseplayer and Troy Racki (ashamed to say I have no idea who this is).
The fate of the industry is in your hands. No pressure though.
Racecar Rhapsody faded to fourth in the 12f Russian Derby and will be headed to Dubai.
The socialists across the pond just set a new yearling sales record in the middle of an economic downturn. I guess when you breed battle tested, drug free horses you will find demand for your product. It's a global game kids and nobody is coming over to ask us to play.
I actually had to work this week and find myself in New York, New York (a town so nice, they named it twice) through the weekend. Since I have the time to kill I thought I would subject myself to the Utopian wonder that is Saratoga. For the sake of journalistic integrity-not mine, I am not a journalist and have no integrity-I figured I would go see what it is all about.
I'm hoping for a quiet weekend with few people there so I can really get a look at the place.

Now this just isn't fair...you're all critical about Saratoga, and now you're going to give it a chance...on TRAVERS DAY?! Tell me that you'll at least be here on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday?
Now, Now, let him in. The Circus Tent is big enough for everyone to join. Once he gets in he will sing Sweet Rhaposdy about the Spa. Winston will be pleasantly surprised at the social and diverse economic makeup of the fans and the racing-well, that speaks for itself. I be there all week so give me a holla! ya here?
Teresa-I will be there for Friday's races so it should be a fair evaluation.
Saratoga-You might not be able to kick me out once you let me in.
You will love it.
Bejarano is coming in on Friday to ride Ginger Punch...should be a good one.
Keep an eye on My Man Lars in the 10th...huge closer.
Enjoy!!
