Here is what the field is going to see at the wire in Saturday's GI Arlington Million.

Einstein stretched his legs this morning, galloping around the turf course; he looked good doing it too. I would imagine that the turf is still on the soft side of good but the weather is supposed to be great all week and Saturday is forecast to be sunny and in the high 70's.

The track was the busiest I have seen it and with only one loose horse incident to show for it, a situation that was swiftly brought to a successful conclusion.

There was a Wayne Catalano sighting and I overheard him bemoaning the fact that he could not find good help. If that poor man ever manages to get a competent team together, watch out. I think he might have a future in this game.

I'll be at Arlington all week so if anyone has anything they would like me to cover I will do what I can; so long as it does not involve me doing any actual work or, you know, talking to anyone.

I love the picture where, after the horse has been caught, he's leaping into the air. His ears are up, he just wants to go have fun.

Didn't you say that you wanted to do some volunteering and learn about being around horses? Sounds like Mr. Catalano might have a job for you...

Kerry-It was the biggest stroke of luck that that happened right in front of me.

Teresa-That is not a bad idea, at all.
