The road of roses

For all of you looking to place a future wager on the Derby, Imalexus had her second timed work, since she returned to training, this morning and was clocked 4f in 52.2 over a cold and muddy Bowie track.

This was her first time going this far in a work and given the conditions at the track, all parties were satisfied with her performance. She seems happy and willing.

You mention a future wager on the Derby..Is Imalexus bypassing the oaks and attempting to jump right in with the boys?

RR-Thank you.

SS-You're probably right. We might be getting ahead of ourselves. We should wait to see by how much we win the Oaks before we bet on her in the Derby...

Was just checking out her pedigree...i see that her dam's sire was pretty impressive: Afternoon Deelites won the Hollywood Futurity at 2 that had over $1M in career earnings...nice.

I see all the best three year olds to be are wintering in Maryland this season, I have a very small share in a fine filly named Homefire(that'samorestable)who is days away from galloping again.

Maybe we can reserve boxes at Churchill right next to each other. That would be nice.

Good Luck Winnie
