A legend in his own mind

Majestic Warrior, winner of the 2007 Hopeful Stakes GI, has been retired to Ashford Stud. He won two of seven starts, finishing unplaced in his final four. Bill Mott assures us that he would have won the Triple Crown had no other horse entered.

In a related story, NYRA is considering carding a GI race next year in his honor.

Not a good year for George Steinbrenner's horse or his baseball team!

I can't figure out why Ashford wanted him...I'd have figured him better off being the Big Horse at a stud in Illinois or something.

Speaking of baseball and studs...let's just say I'm rooting for your boyz...but that's one tough #99 in October...hope they win tonight.

You say so much in so few words sometimes . . .it's almost like haiku

BTW have you thought of tagging your stuff so you appear on the race360 wire.

Thanks everyone.

John-I appreciate you giving me enough credit to think that I have enough of a clue to know what a tag is or how to use it.

R360 said there was a problem with my feed(whatever that is) and that she can't get it. I have no idea what that means or does.

Thanks again.

Hey W,

Next time you write a post just include a keyword or tag "r360wire" on your content.

The feed was set up by Jessica at Railbird and it has a lot of good stuff on it and you should be there too!!

Good Luck
